According to the website, when you click on shipping, there is a special area for International shipping (outside of Canada), you actually have to call AG and tell them where you are and they figure it out for you.
"International Shipping
Shipping and processing rates are for the U.S. and its possessions. For international rates, e-mail us at , or from outside the U.S., call 011-608-831-5210 or fax 011-608-828-4790. Recipient is responsible for all taxes and duties."

Kit 2005 is correct, AG will not ship to Europe and other countries, but they will ship to places like the UK and Australia. Each country has different shipping rules for AG. It also costs alot of money to ship it to Europe. Trust me I know. AG will not ship to Greece either, hence why I know the Europe non shipping part.

I guess the short answer then is make a friend here and be willing to pay a lot to ship. Now I am curious if it is cheaper to ship from the east coast or the West coast of the US to europe.
Kind of a bummer though.
I'll volunteer to ship stuff to you, but if it is cheaper for someone on the east coast to ship to you then the west coast then I say go with that.

Had not thought about the east cost vs the west cost on shipping. I am on the west cost also, so it may cost more if either of us helped you. I have no clue, since I have never mailed anything overseas.

I'm also not sure whether it's less expensive shipping from the East coast or the West, but I'm pretty sure there is a difference.
If you can find someone who lives close to an AGP, it may work better. This way you don't have to pay the shipping from AG to them (tax should be less than AG shipping unless it's a large order). Also they can hand pick your item
I'm sure you will find many people here who are willing to help, there are so many wonderful people here [img]graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

I think making an American friend here on this board might be a good idea. Someone may be kind enough to mail your doll to you from the US. I live on the West Coast as well, so it may be cheaper to find someone on the East Coast to help you out.
You could also try buying an American Girl doll off eBay, if the seller is willing to ship internationally. You may not get a brand new doll, however, since many eBay dolls are used.
